"Good app, but treadmill runs feel like an afterthought"
I’ve been using Runna mostly on the treadmill, and overall it does the job, but it hasn’t felt as smooth as I expected. The workouts themselves are easy enough to follow, though syncing pace and adjusting things mid-run can feel a bit awkward. It kind of gives me the impression that treadmill support isn’t really where their attention is going right now.
Support did get back to me when I asked about it, which I appreciated, but it took a little while and the response felt basic, like they were trying to keep it moving rather than really dig into the issue. I wouldn’t say it’s a bad app at all, but if you run indoors a lot, you might notice the treadmill side feels a bit less polished.

"Runna syncs with my Garmin super easily…"
runna syncs with my Garmin super easily, which feels like it shouldn’t be such a big deal, but somehow it is with a lot of apps. My GPS runs show up properly, my plan is right there, and I’m not stuck messing around trying to figure out what transferred and what didn’t. It just makes following the plan way less annoying, which is exactly what I needed.

"I’ve been happy with it so far..."
I’ve been happy with it so far. The app runs smoothly, the plans load quickly, it just feels nice not having to deal with random bugs or little frustrations. It makes me trust it more when everything just works

"I’m new to this, and after..."
I’m new to this, and after seeing other beginners mention it was easy to use, I decided to try it. So far, it’s been simple enough for me to get started without feeling overwhelmed...
"The plans are actually decent and easy…"
The plans are actually decent and easy enough to follow, so I’ll give it that. But i’m not totally convinced it’s worth paying for every month. It’s not trash or anything, it just feels a bit overpriced for what I’m getting.

"Good plans, but the unit settings bug me instantly"
My snap take: the training plans are solid, but the localization is way more annoying than it should be. I set my units the way I want, then some screens still show miles or weird pace info like the app forgot. Dates and language don’t always feel quite right for my region either. It’s not ruining the app, but for something I’m paying for, I really expect it to feel more polished every time I open a workout.

"Nice tracking, but the insights could be a bit clearer"
I’ve been using Runna for a little while now, maybe a few weeks or so, and I do like it overall. The tracking is useful for keeping an eye on my runs, pace changes, and generally how I’m doing from week to week. It gives me enough of a nudge to stay motivated.
The analytics are where it feels a bit less impressive. They’re not bad, but sometimes the charts leave me guessing what the numbers really mean. For the price, I’d probably expect a bit more explanation or guidance. It works fine, just feels like it could be clearer.

"Runna’s Helped Me Stay Consistent"
I’ve been using Runna for a few weeks now, it’s been a good experience. I was looking for something that didn’t feel too generic, and the training plan actually feels like it’s built around my current level. One thing I really appreciate is how it adjusts around my schedule, because my week isn’t always the same. Some of the workouts have definitely pushed me more than I expected, but in a good way. Overall, it’s helped me stay on track and feel more consistent with my running.

"Fueling advice still feels too basic"
The training plans are fine, but once again the nutrition and fueling advice felt way too generic. I was hoping for actual guidance for long runs and race week, not the same basic reminders I’ve seen a hundred times. I ended up having to Google most of it myself, which was frustrating
"Good app, but the menus throw me off sometimes"
I actually like this app overall, it’s nice and does what I need. But the menus can be kind of confusing at times, and I’ll just sit there wondering where something went. It’s not a huge deal, but wow, it can get a little annoying. Still, I use it and mostly enjoy it

"Decent at first, but didn’t feel very personal"
I used Runna for a few weeks, it seemed fine in the beginning. The app is easy enough to follow, and I can see how it might work well for some people. But after a while, the workouts started to feel repetitive, with a lot of the same types of runs showing up each week and not much variety to keep me motivated. The progression also felt a bit uneven. Some weeks were almost too easy, and then suddenly it would jump up more than I was expecting. I’m not trying to be harsh, but when people are paying for a training plan, it feels fair to expect something that’s a bit more balanced and personal. For me, it just didn’t quite hit that mark.

"Finally Sticking With Running"
Runna has been the thing that gets me out the door on days I’d normally talk myself out of running. I really like how the plan is already laid out for me, with clear runs and pacing guidance instead of me having to guess what to do. Seeing each workout on the schedule makes me feel accountable, and it’s helped me stay consistent in a way I haven’t managed before.

"I’ve been using Runna for a few..."
I’ve been using Runna for a few weeks now and the pace targets just feel really on point for me. They’re not too easy, but not insanely hard either. I’m pretty much hitting the sessions as planned and can already see some progress, which is really motivating. Just really happy with it so far...

"Billing Issue Got Fixed Quickly"
I had a billing issue, which was frustrating, but support did get it sorted out fast. I appreciated the quick help, even if I wish I hadn’t had to deal with the problem in the first place.

"Coach support took way too long"
I really liked the idea behind the app, and I wanted it to work for me, but the coach replies were just too slow. I’d send a message and then sit around waiting (which got frustrating), and by the time I heard back, it didn’t feel that helpful anymore. Overall, the concept is good, but the support needs to be a lot more responsive.

"Community side feels a bit awkwardly empty"
I do like the training plans, and I feel a little embarrassed admitting how much I was hoping for the social side to keep me motivated too. The actual running structure is helpful, but once I tried to connect with other people, it felt quiet.
There wasn’t much chat going on, and I couldn’t really find an easy way to meet people training for similar races. I kept poking around like I was missing something obvious, then eventually just gave up and went back to Strava.
For the price, I expected it to feel like more than just a solo plan app. If you’re looking for proper encouragement or a runner community, runna doesn’t really offer that yet.

"When my week got thrown off, it didnt…"
When my week got thrown off, it didnt really adapt as smoothly as I hoped. It worked, but making changes felt kind of awkward and more frustrating than it shouldve been.

"Good plan, but the injury help felt too surface-level"
I was into the plan at first, and for normal training it seemed fine. But once my shin started hurting, the advice felt really basic. It basically told me to tweak a run or take a rest day, without much detail on what I should actually do next, how serious it might be, or when I should fully stop. I kind of got the feeling it was more focused on keeping me moving through the plan than really helping me recover properly, though maybe that’s just me being skeptical. I was hoping for more recovery guidance and prevention drills, but I ended up googling around and booking a physio anyway. So yeah, not useless, but definitely not enough if you’re dealing with an injury

"Plan seemed fine until race day"
The plan felt okay while I was following it, so I thought I was on track. But then race day came around and it was clear it just hadn’t prepared me enough. Super frustrating, because you put in the time expecting it to actually get you ready
"The app is good-looking and the runs are..."
The app is good-looking and the runs are easy to follow. I’m the kind of person who likes simple cues and quick takeaways, so I appreciated being able to just glance at the plan and know what to do next.
That said, I kept hoping it would explain the purpose behind the workouts a bit more. Some pace changes and sessions made me think, “Okay, I’ll do it, but why?” For the price, I expected more guidance and context, not just a schedule to follow.
